It has been noted that nobody can find if and how much xp was considered overcap for the ICC 2005 Changeling game. I have an answer for you.
The overcap award is 2 xp.
Let the masses rejoice.

Hello, everyone.
We've got a number of things in store for the venue, both in the ending of the current chronicle and starting a new one. On the latter, I'm sure many of you have ideas of what you would like to see. Please, please make your opinions known. My goal is to give the new chronicle to the players as much as possible.
On another note, does anyone think it will be all useful for me to hold some office hours on IRC? I can answer some questions, let some information out so you aren't all in the dark until the end of the chronicle. I'm thinking a Sunday. |

As most of you have probably seen on the OOC annoucement list, I am stepping away from AAMST Dreaming.
Storytelling for Changeling has been one of the most rewarding things I've done in the club over the last five years. I've had both good and bad times trying to help create an interesting and complex venue.
However, all things end. I have a great deal of things in my own life that I want to start focusing on that would take away too much time from Changeling, so I've decided to let someone else fill that roll.
As an FYI, I will be finishing up my outstanding work before I leave so don't feel that I will be leaving anyone in a lurch.
It's been great. I love this game and I love the players. It's time for me, however, to move onto to other things. Thank you for the experiences I have had and the new faces I now call friends.
See You all Around, Ifer Biddle US2002021467 General Member (Finally!) |

All,
In the past, the tracking of Fealty in the Changeling venue has been a nightmare for players and storytellers alike. We've had issues determining who is responsible for what area, with such things as "Duke" Errants, or NPCS running over PCS in the same area with the same titles. There has been very little progress in figuring out the fealty chains or a method with which to do this effectivly.
All title must now be put in the Database, from Squire to High King. This is *not* an approval, but a notification allowing Storytellers to determine where your character or your NPC falls into existing fealty chains.
Your notification should include your PC/NPC's name, their level of title, who they are sworn to (and their title), and the Area they rule over (or if they an errant noble).
Even if you already have your PC/NPC in the DB for a title approval, if it does not include that information, you will need to update your approval so that it reflects the answers to those questions. This information must be in the database by January 1st, 2006. Please look for rough Fealty documents by February 1st, 2006. Any title that is not put in the DB with this information will be removed.
Storytellers, please pass this along. It takes all of 2-3 minutes to complete and will make things run more smoothly.

| » Changeling Newsletter, November 2005 |
All, The first Global Changeling Newsletter will be published in November. It will include settings information, information about each of the nations and their storytellers, and other goodies for players and storytellers. There a couple of things we would like to see from our players and storytellers-- such as articles, IC fictions, tips. or anything else you can think of to submit. You can also submit ideas for things you would like to see. All information should be sent by the 15 of November. Also, we are going to do a Player/Storyteller of the Month segment in the newsletter, highlighting the people that make this game what it is. There will be special benefits (to be determined) for the people who are listed in the column that month. Those who wish to make nominations should send me an email at aamst.dreaming at gmail.com with the name of the person and a paragraph detailing your nomination. Nominations for the first newletter are due by November 15th.

Since the lists are sometimes a bit wacky, I may be putting plot information for STS on this LJ in *in addition* to posting to lists just so it can get out there.
In order to do this, I need to identify those who are STS and those who are players so information stays, mostly, where it belongs.
Leave a comment on whether you're an ST for the club or a player and I'll get you added to the appropriate filter.
